Credit Controller - 12-month FTC
Location: Remote (with 1 to 2 days per month in Liverpool City Centre)
Term: 12-month fixed term contract (until June/July 2025)
Salary: £26,500 per annum + benefits
Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
Opportunity:
A leading, national not-for-profit business require an experienced Credit Controller for a specific project. This role will last for approximately 12-months giving you security until June/July 2025.
Your role as Credit Controller will focus solely on an aged-debt recovery project. You will use your diligence, tenacity, and communication skills to resolve aged queries and ultimately recover monies outstanding to the business that are recoverable.
You will work closely with the other Credit Controllers in the team, the Finance Director, and external stakeholders to support you in your project.
You will feel an immense level of achievement and success in this exciting project.
Duties will include:
Reviewing the aged debtor’s ledger
Analysing the detail of aged-debt, validity of transactions, and potential recovery
Collecting recoverable debt and escalating debts that are not progressing to recovery
Reporting unrecoverable debts with detailed explanations
Posting journals for accurate debtor transaction allocation
Updating the Finance Director on project delivery against agreed targets
Conducting other projects when required
Experience & skills required:
Proven experience in aged-debt recovery
Demonstrable experience in customer query resolution
Diligent
Tenacious
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Experience of Microsoft packages
